23rd of September, 2013 — Workout — Jogging, or Yogging if you’re from Sweden

Whats happening today Convicts?!

Today was a good little recovery day, and why not some cardio? I know I don’t like it, so thats what makes it a wonderful day for it. Yeah, I know that doesnt make too much sense, but I’ve to lie to myself like that to get in the Cardio 🙂  Nonetheless, it was actually a pretty nice day for a Calisthenics trail run with some of my meetup crew. They’re getting better every time we go out, and that makes me feel good. I like to see people progressing, especially when they’ve perfect form!

I’m getting incredibly psyched up for my MovNat training and certification course this weekend! It’s been months coming, and I look forward to all the new knowledge and cool training techniques I’ll be able to implement afterwards! I only wish some of you were here to crank out some Calisthenics with me.

STAY STRONG!

Convicts … its running day today,

How’re you crazies workouts going? I dislike running, but the more than I do it … I still dislike it! I actually ran a bit with the ol’ Sandbag on my back, because if I’m going to run, why not make it as much fun as possible?!

9th of September, 2013 — Workout — Running!!

Whats happening Convicts?!

I had a workout last friday, but I didnt have anything with me to log it, and I can’t recall the number so I just nixed the entry.

I’ve also decided to switch up my regular workout day’s to Tue / Thur / Saturday. Reasoning, I feel as though my progress for my goals are suffering with having my meetup.com group workouts. They don’t really align with my goals so I’m going to keep those workouts on Mon / Wed  / Fri and do my own on the mentioned days above. I think this’ll work out better as it’ll give me the opportunity to pay attention and actually train the individuals who show up to the workouts, and as I mentioned my progress and goals are being neglected. I dont like that.

Anyway, I got in a decent run with the workout today as it was down on the Calisthenics trail. We’d run down and then jog back while doing the Calisthenics stations ( hence the excessive duration! )

RUNNING:

  • Distance: 2.64 Miles
  • Duration: 1 Hour 45 Minutes

13th of August, 2013 — Workout — Running

Bonjourno Convicts!

Light day today, I had to actually talk myself into get up out of bed because I really really dislike running. Somehow managed it though. I did manage to cut some of the time off though, which was nice. I sprinted like it was my job for the last few hundred feet just to push myself and make me hate running even more 🙂

17th of July, 2013 — Workout — Volleyball & Running

CONVICTS!!!!!!

Holy hell was today insanely hot. I’m absolutely not built for this climate. I need to move somewhere that’s 60-70 ( Fahrenheit for you Euro’s n Friends ) with zero humidity. I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT WHEN I’M JUST STANDING THERE IN MY BUSINESS ATTIRE AND IM SWEATING!

Regardless, I still managed to put in a good day of cardio. I went and played Volleyball with my pops n his friends for lunch, and after I got my haircut, I went for a run. Nothing fancy, same route as last time, and I think I actually went a bit slower … BUT I’m blaming it on the heat! Just glad I got out there and put in work.

Again following the MovNat running techniques, the knees are feeling like champs. I’m getting better with it each time I go out, although I still feel a bit goofy.

11th of July, 2013 — Workout — RUNNING!!

I’m putting in some miles this week Convicts!

Well maybe not tons, but its a hell of alot more than than last week. This MovNat running technique is a lifesaver for me. My knees used to bug me after any kind of runs, fortunately now, I’ve a much better and incredibly more efficient technique. Only thing is it hits my calves in a new spot, so they’re sore as hell haha, but I’ll take sore muscles over sore joints anyday! I know the muscles will adjust and the soreness will go away.

Again, nothing record breaking here with this run, but it sure put a beating on me 🙂

STAY STRONG!!
