  1. Gotta question for you . . .

I have a helluva time doing Crow Stands. I can get up into the position but I simply cannot seem to keep my balance. The best I’ve done so far is about 10-15 seconds.

I keep getting back up until I complete my allotted time for this workout, but I can’t seem to do it all in one go.

Could this be because my arms and shoulders simply aren’t strong enough to stabilize my body? Do you have any tips, other than repeated practice and (hopefully) improved execution, to do better on these exercises?

    Thanks!

    Work smart and work strong,

    • Hey John!

Sorry for the delay my friend. As for your crow stands, don’t be discouraged. When I first attempted them I was in the same boat as you.

I’m honestly not too sure if it’s due to your upper body strength – are you able to do the full set time for the Wall Headstand’s? Those I feel got my shoulders ready for the Crow Stands. If you check here ( https://convictworkout.wordpress.com/2012/05/17/17th-may-2012-workout-crow-stands-straight-bridges/ ) during my early stages I was only able to go about 10s.

It’s more of just a practice thing unfortunately. But I honestly can’t say how your form or anything is, maybe a quick video showing your form? I really struggled with them initially too, so don’t be discouraged! Now they’re almost so easy I could do them in my sleep! haha
