14th May, 2012 — Workout — Pullups & Squats

Hard to get time to get my workout in today, so I was unable to complete the full workout. Multiple factors and such. Plus I’m super tired and I’ve to get up early for work tomorrow, so here’s what was accomplished today. I’ll write more about it tomorrow, as well as post the video.

  1. B,
I’d really like to know what your rest time is between each set. Do you keep track of it, and are you fairly strict about it?

    • Hey Neil,
Yesterday’s resting time between sets was 120 seconds. I’m definitely strict about it, the app I use to log everything has a stopwatch built-in thankfully. The rest time between the work sets is usually a little longer, and I’m less strict about a specific amount of time for those those because they’re usually based on how I feel that day. I try to keep those to a minimum obviously, but I only start the work sets when I feel as though I can complete a full set. It gives me time to get a drink, and I’m usually blogging simultaneously so that I can jot down my thoughts immediately or else I’ll forget them!

What about you? You mentioned earlier that you used to do the 120 second rest, but you’ve cut it down to 30 seconds?
